Fun Tips to Start Drinking More Water Everyday

Are you taking eight glasses of water every day? It is the required amount of water to help you attain better health benefits including healthier skin, better digestion, enhanced cognitive power, fat burn, more energy, and what not!

Dealing with the daily water quota is a struggle for many of us (including the frequent bathroom visits), and thus we barely meet the required daily water intake mark. The little secret is that you can transform yourself into a water-guzzling machine by keeping a daily score of how and when you sip-away the required 8-glasses of water in the hassle-free way. Here a few tips to help you adopt drinking more water habits in a fun way:

Stash Water Bottles Everywhere:

At your office desk, in the drawer, on your bed side-table, in the fridge, in the car, keep a water bottle at every place you can think of. This will help you consume more water without even noticing it. Even take one when you go out to walk your dog! A reusable water bottle may be the best gadget you can buy from the super market to flourish your health.

Sip Instead of Drink:

Drinking water in smaller portions all day can make it easier for you to stay hydrated. Pour a glass of water and keep it with you when you are watching a movie, or reading a book and take sips as you sit back relaxed. Why not drink a glass of water right now as you are learning more tricks on staying hydrated.

Drink WaterFirst thing in the Morning:

Keep a glass of water next to your bed so that you can gulp down one as you wake up. Let this be your first source of hydration before you take on any breakfast juice, tea or a Starbucks.

Flavor Your Water – Naturally:

If you think water is bland to drink, flavor it naturally! A slice of lemon, mango, kiwi, watermelon, orange, lime, and mint leaves are some of the tasty options to make your water consumption more gratifying for the taste buds.

Pace Your Water Intake:

Keep a glass filled with water as you sit down to eat. Try drinking water between the bites. This will not only help you to feel filled sooner, but also keep you away from the bombardment of more drinks, such as coke or alcohol.

Drink With the HoursDrink With the Hours:

You have 24 hours in a day (or 16 if you take off 8 for sleeping), to consume the required amounts of water. This is plenty of time to manage your intake. Divide the hours according to your water intake – starting from first glass right after you wake up and the other 7 for the rest of the day. If you cannot gulp the whole glass down your throat at once, finish it off in breaks, but start the next one as the clock strikes 12!

And Do Not Forget to Filter Out!

Yes, you have to take more visits to the bathroom when you consume more water – but that is good and eventually it will decrease! Filtering out your system is a good thing to remove the toxins and the waste material from the body that may harm the system. It is also one of the basic reasons behind the consumption of plentiful water on daily basis.
